The name Baard Kolstad is firmly cemented within the international drumming landscape. Renowned for his explosive, frenetic, yet precise techniques, Baard is a mainstay of both the Norwegian and world music scene and his skills are second to none. Starting as a street drummer and YouTube sensation in his teens, he has established himself through international touring and frequent album releases with progressive rock/metal act Leprous and Rendezvous Point. He was the winner of the 2012 V-drums world championship in LA, and has played with many well-renowned artists in the last decade such as ICS Vortex, Solefald, God Seed, Gaahls Wyrd and Ihsahn.
